Arizona soccer steals a win in extra time against Washington

12 hours 33 min ago
From the opening whistle, Washington was not going to allow the Wildcats to get anything easily. The Huskies played a physical game, with their defenders making it difficult for Arizona’s forwards by constantly attacking and pushing the ‘Cats towards the sidelines rather than allowing them to pressure the middle of the field.   Alex Muñoz

Skinner's Winners: Week seven picks

UCLA is coming off a 30-point win over Cal, which showed encouraging signs in a season that has shown few and far in between for UCLA. Arizona is coming off a humiliating display against Utah, but have had an extra day of rest and preparation than the Bruins do. This spread seems fair, especially with the absence of Khalil Tate, as Vegas is banking on the Arizona offense to be just as anemic as they were in Salt Lake. I think those guys know what they are doing. I’m hedging my feelings and going with Bruins -9.5.  David Skinner

Rodriguez is no stranger to the players around the program, being around the team while still in high school when his father Rich Rodriguez was still the head coach. Even though Rodriguez' skill set is different from that of Tate, the Wildcats are getting someone more than capable of running the offense.  Mark Lawson

Sat, 10/13/2018 - 05:51
Arizona (3-4, 2-2) used three different quarterbacks against Utah but none were able to provide any type of spark for an offense that’s mustered just 20 points in the last eight quarters. The Wildcats defense surrendered 450-plus yards for the fifth time this season as Utah scored the first 28 points of the game, and didn’t look back. Alec White
